2023 TRIUMPH ROCKET 3R SHOOT

This blog is definitely overdue as I had a million things going on. Long story short, right before I purchased and moved my family in to a new house, and obviously took a ton of time to set up the new office, editing space and shooting/building space in the garage, I attended the AIM Expo (post on that coming soon too). Needless to say these two things being back to back made life a bit hectic and threw my schedule completely off. Anyway enough with the history lesson, right before these two events I had the opportunity to borrow a 2023 Triumph Rocket 3R Press Bike from Triumph North America for about a month and during my time with it I did a photoshoot for CruzTools as well as some general social media coverage. To say that this bike is beautiful and a blast to both ride and photograph is an understatement.

CruzTools is one of my channel partners and they produce high quality motorcycle toolkits that are brand specific. In this case I created an advertisement for their Triumph specific tool kit in which I featured the Rocket 3R, primarily focusing on the epic 2.5 liter, 3 cylinder engine and the exhaust system coming out of it on one side.

Speaking of the epic 2.5 liter motor, here is another shot of the engine and headers close up with the Triumph logo above. For a stock exhaust and header Triumph really did outdo themselves as the Rocket 3R setup is quite photogenic. In this photo I wanted the main focus to be on the exhaust exiting the engine, with special emphasis on the 2500cc badge, but I also wanted to ensure that the fuel tank Triumph logo and reflection were also seen, but to a lesser degree.

Overall the Rocket 3R was a blast to photograph as it has so many fine details and just and overall menacing presence, especially in the all black scheme that this model had.

An example of the fine detail on the bike, the Rocket 3R features a set of Brembo Stylema brake calipers that themselves are a work for art. The entire brake setup definitely adds to the look of the bike.

Another perspective and close up of the exhaust exiting the three cylinder motor that powers the Rocket 3R.
