Photography gives me a chance to slow down a world that is sometimes moving too fast for its own good and allows me to look at life from a different perspective, to see things that I otherwise might be too busy to notice and to express myself by sharing the beauty that I see. I find this especially to be the case with landscape photography. Here are some of my favorite landscape shots.
As much as I would consider landscape photography my bread and butter, and one of my favorite types of photography, it is only slightly ahead of animal photography which I don’t get a chance to do as much. To me animal photography is amazing as it often incorporates many of the aspects of landscape photography that I enjoy and adds in to the mix a main character or main subject to focus on. Here are some of my favorite animal shots.
Outside of landscape and animal photography I have also started to explore portrait photography and find myself enjoying it more and more. This is an area of photography that I feel I still have a lot to learn in but do feel that I have discovered a passion for and see myself continuing to explore so that I am able to build up my skills in portraiture to match that of my landscape and animal shots. Stemming back from my days as the Editor In Chief for Performance Tuner Magazine, vehicle/transportation photography is something I have enjoyed for a long time. Originally starting with automotive photography, I have since added motorcycle, boat and truck photography to the mix. This is a category I expect to continue to grow as I find additional vehicles to explore.
